Farewell, Shootka!

Solo bass project which commenced November 2006. Started off as just an idea to throw some tunes together only using a bass has now grown into a nearly exclusively doom project, while retaining the Bass Only rule. 2007 saw my first CD-R demo distributed, including colour (!!!) artwork. The goal for 2008 is to unleash a self-released EP including live drums and vocals. I have recently joined an actual band for the first time in ages, but shall continue working on this material as a sole venture.

Not long ago I realized that when a song that isn't exactly great springs forth from my person, it's best to allow it to run the course it wishes rather than stifle the being in hopes that something better comes out. It seems as if writing 50 bad songs might allow 3 or 4 of them to be good, so I put them all on display in hopes of a collective weeding out of sorts. Law of averages as it were, or at the very least I can steal some of the better parts of these lesser songs and use them in a more strategic fashion some other place, somewhere, some other time.
